Private Transfers to Titania Hotel Athens from Airport & Ports

Titania Hotel Athens in the heart of Athens near Panepistimiou Street.

Titania Hotel Athens sits right on Panepistimiou Street, between Syntagma and Omonia squares, about as central as Athens gets. The Acropolis and Lycabettus Hill are in view, the metro is a short walk away and the shops, museums and business district are all close by. It suits a city break, a conference or a short stay between islands just as well.

Getting there from the airport or the ports is the part that catches people out. After a long flight, a slow ferry or an early cruise docking, the last thing you want is to drag luggage through a metro station or work out a route on the spot. A private transfer settles that. Your driver is waiting, and you go straight to the door on Panepistimiou Street.

Van Taxi Transfer runs fixed price minivan transfers from Athens Airport and the ports of Piraeus, Lavrio and Rafina straight to Titania Hotel Athens.

Why a Private Transfer to Titania Hotel Athens?

A private transfer takes the stress out of arriving in the centre of Athens. It suits guests landing late at night or very early, families with children, business travelers, conference guests, cruise passengers and anyone who would rather be driven straight to the entrance. You know the price before you set off. Your driver meets you in the arrivals hall or at the agreed port point with a name sign, and you head to the hotel with no extra stops and no detours.

Fixed transfer cost

You agree the price before you travel, so nothing changes on arrival. There is no meter, no surcharge at the kerb and no sorting out transport once you are tired from the journey.

Popular transfer routes

1. Athens Airport to and from Titania Hotel Athens

Most visitors land at Athens International Airport, Eleftherios Venizelos, east of the city. The drive into the centre and on to Panepistimiou Street usually takes 30 to 45 minutes on a normal day. Your driver meets you in the arrivals hall, so there is no taxi queue after a long flight. Book the return at the same time and the trip back is sorted before you have unpacked, which helps if you have an early flight or heavy bags.

2. Piraeus Port to and from Titania Hotel Athens

Piraeus is the main ferry and cruise harbour for Athens, about 11 to 12 km from the hotel. The drive usually takes 20 to 30 minutes, though it depends on your gate and the traffic around the port. After a night ferry from the islands or a morning cruise arrival, with bags and a crowd all moving at once, a driver who knows the terminal layout saves real time. Book the return early in summer, when the port is at its busiest.

3. Lavrio Port to and from Titania Hotel Athens

Lavrio sits further down the southeast coast and serves ferry routes to several Aegean islands. It is the longest of these transfers, about 54 km and roughly 55 to 65 minutes by road. Since it is further out, it is worth booking ahead so the timing lines up with your ferry.

4. Rafina Port to and from Titania Hotel Athens

Rafina is the other big island port, close to the airport and handy for much of the Cyclades, about 27 to 32 km from the hotel and usually 30 to 45 minutes away. It is a natural choice for a late ferry arrival, an early departure, or pairing a flight with a ferry. Book early in summer, when demand is high and the schedules fill up.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where will the driver meet me?

At the airport, the driver waits in the arrivals hall with a name sign. For port pickups, we confirm the exact meeting point after you book. For hotel departures, the driver meets you at the agreed spot at the arranged time.

When should I reserve my transfer?

A day ahead is usually enough. In summer, book sooner for ferry arrivals, late rides, early departures and transfers from Piraeus, Lavrio or Rafina, when demand is high.

What happens if my flight or ferry is delayed?

Share your flight number or ferry details when you book. If you are delayed, the driver tracks your arrival and adjusts the pickup, so you do not need to call or rearrange anything yourself.

About the Hotel

Titania Hotel Athens has a longer story than most Athens hotels. The site opened in 1911 as a grand patisserie, The United Voustasias, and later became the Titania Cinema, a major entertainment venue in the city. It turned to hospitality in 1971, and the hotel opened in 1976 with 385 rooms and suites. It still pairs that history with modern comfort, right in the centre of Athens.

Wherever you are arriving from, your transfer brings you straight to the entrance on Panepistimiou Street.

Dining is a real part of the stay. Vergina Restaurant on the mezzanine handles breakfast. La Brasserie in the main lobby is the easy all day spot for coffee, drinks, salads, sandwiches and desserts, good for a break or a quiet meeting. Up on the 11th floor, Olive Garden Bar & Restaurant is the one to book, with modern Greek cooking and panoramic views over Athens, the Acropolis and Lycabettus. Non resident guests are welcome with a reservation.

The hotel also takes meetings and social events, with nine meeting rooms and flexible spaces, modern audiovisual equipment, high speed WiFi and on site support. It handles corporate meetings, conferences, seminars, product launches, gala dinners, weddings and private gatherings.

It is pet friendly for pets up to 12 kg, subject to conditions and a possible extra charge. Panepistimio and Omonia metro stations are both close, which makes getting around the rest of the city easy.
