About the Hotel
Divani Palace Acropolis opened in 1976 as the first Divani hotel in Athens, and it is still known for where it stands, right beneath the Acropolis. Rooms range from the contemporary Essential, Superior and Executive categories up to the suites, which are built for longer or more comfortable stays, many with balconies facing the Acropolis. At the top, the Divine Terrace Suite and the Acropolis Terrace Suite add private terraces, outdoor jacuzzies and the Parthenon in front of you.
Whichever room you choose, your transfer brings you from the airport or the ports straight to the entrance.

Food is a big part of the stay. Acropolis Secret, the rooftop restaurant and bar, has been named Greece’s Best Hotel Restaurant. The kitchen is Mediterranean, with seafood, meat, Greek produce and wine pairings, all served against the floodlit Acropolis from 19:30 to 02:00 year round. At ground level, D Bar is the relaxed counterpart beside the outdoor pool, set among marble surfaces, with cocktails and light bites. In summer it becomes a poolside spot for a slow lunch or a cold drink after a day around the sights.
For downtime there is a fitness centre with a sauna to wind down afterwards. The pool is the quiet counterweight to a day of museums and monuments, with loungers and a calm corner away from the streets.
For meetings and celebrations, there are three event rooms, Aristotelis, Erechthion and Themistocles, each set up theatre, classroom, boardroom, banquet or cocktail style.
On foot, you are about as central as Athens gets. The Acropolis, the Acropolis Museum, Plaka, Syntagma Square, the Herodium Theater and the Monastiraki flea market are all within easy reach, and the hotel keeps its own piece of the past downstairs, a display of artefacts from the ancient Themistoclean Wall.
